Dr. Brendan Fitzsimmons has 28 years of experience in the medical field. Over the course of his robust career, Dr. Fitzsimmons has had a full spectrum family practice, plus experience with working in hospitals, clinics, as well as a full OB practice. He has been the medical director of three Wyoming nursing homes. Before entering the medical field, Dr. Fitzsimmons served with the U.S. Navy as a Missile Fire Controlman, homeported in Norfolk, Virginia as part of the Second Fleet, Atlantic Ocean.

Dr. Michael E. Janssen, DO Board Certified Spine Surgeon Center for Spine & Orthopedics – Denver, CO
CSO founder Dr. Michael Janssen was among the first surgeons in the nation to perform total disc replacement (TDR). He participated in initial clinical studies and has been performing TDRs since 2006 when the FDA approved the ProDisc. Since then, Dr. Janssen has performed more than 1,000 complex TDR surgeries and trained more than 150 surgeons worldwide to perform the procedure. In November 2015, Dr. Janssen published an article on the long term results of TDR surgery in the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.
Specialties include total disc replacement, degenerative disc surgery, disc arthroplasty, laminectomy, microdiscectomy and neck surgery, among other surgical procedures.

Paula Vasek is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and internationally board-certified Lactation Consultant. Paula’s career started in the Emergency Department (ED) in Tacoma, Washington at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital. While working in the ED, Paula began working on her Master’s of Science in Nurse Education with hopes of teaching at the collegiate level. In addition to working on her nurse education degree, Paula undertook a second master’s program to obtain a degree as a Nurse Practitioner and completed this in 2005.
Paula practiced at Laramie Physicians for Women and Children specializing in Pediatrics for 16 years until she and her colleague, Elizabeth Smith, opened the doors to Meadowlark Pediatrics in 2021.
