Our patients receive the highest quality of care possible with our 24/7 emergency room, primary care clinic, visiting specialists, inpatient/outpatient physical and occupational therapy, and extended care facility located in the heart of the North Platte Valley.
Opened in 2023, the North Platte Valley Medical Center is the most up-to-date medical campus in southcentral Wyoming. In addition to a 24-hour emergency room, NPVMC offers advanced imaging capabilities.
The facility also features an onsite laboratories and physical and occupational therapy facilities. It is staffed with both fulltime doctors and mid-level providers as well as professional staff in all other healthcare positions. The 25 beds are allocated between acute care and extended care, enabling NPVMC to offer the type of care provided in a nursing home and rehabilitation services to local residents.

Took a fall while fishing the Encampment river and thought I had busted my middle finger. Drove to the ER, had it x-rayed. Fortunately, it was only dislocated! The Doctor reset it, and I will be fishing again soon. In and out in about an hour and all staff were very pleasant. This would not have been the case in most big city ERs. Thanks again to all involved.
I would like to thank the staff at the North Platte Valley Medical Center for the excellent care they are providing for everyone in the Platte Valley. We have had a couple of occasions since they opened to go to the emergency room for urgent care. We received care quickly and very professionally. It is good to know that emergency care is just minutes away, not hours! Thank you again!
I was seen for extreme back pain and abdominal pain. This has happened to me several times over the past few years and the previous facility I was seen at always sent me home and gave me antibiotics or other medication. The NPVMC ordered ordered a CT scan with contrast. They sent the findings to my doctor and I was referred to another doctor. Within 2 months I was having surgery. I’m feeling better than I have for a long time! Thank you so much you changed my life for the better!
They saved my life. I can say with no uncertainty if Lisa hadn't been there to treat me I wouldn't be here. There were several doctors at Poudre Valley that were surprised I made it to them still conscious and breathing.

“I had worrisome pain in my chest and showed up at the Clinic without an appointment shortly before closing time. I was seen immediately, given an EKG and blood was drawn for lab work. These tests showed the possibility of a heart attack and a flight for life plane was quickly ordered to transport me to Cheyenne. The staff was caring and professional and didn't complain (or even mention) that they were working after hours. It turned out that I had had a mild heart attack, and the calm and efficient work of the staff made a traumatic situation much easier to handle.”
