The NPVMC emergency room is open 24/7 – no appointment is needed. For an emergency, call 911.

The purpose of the North Platte Valley Medical Center Emergency Department is to drastically reduce the amount of time between the onset of a medical emergency and critical care.


Our specially trained team of emergency medicine providers and paramedics/EMTs are here to respond with rapid, sophisticated care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • All providers and nursing staff are certified in:

       – Advanced cardiac life support

       – Pediatric advanced life support

       – Trauma response
