Dr. Mori Speakman, MD
Dr. Mori Speakman, MD
Dr. Mori Speakman, MD is a board-certified family medicine physician, seeing patients full time at the North Platte Valley Medical Center in Saratoga.
Born and raised in Mt. Pleasant, Utah, Dr. Speakman developed a passion for medicine inspired by the values of his close-knit rural community.
Dr. Speakman’s academic journey began at Snow College, where he earned an undergraduate degree, followed by further studies at the University of Utah.
He continued at the University of Utah for medical school, honing his skills and commitment to compassionate healthcare.
Dr. Speakman completed his family medicine residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he gained extensive training in providing comprehensive care across diverse patient populations.
As a physician in the military, Dr. Speakman served in multiple locations, including deployments to Germany and Afghanistan, as well as assignments at Fort Drum, New York, and Cedar City, Utah. These experiences strengthened his ability to deliver high-quality care in challenging and varied settings, fostering a deep commitment to serving communities with diverse needs.
Dr. Speakman is dedicated to fostering strong patient relationships and promoting health through preventive care, chronic disease management, and holistic wellness.
During the week, Dr. Speakman sees patients full time at the Platte Valley Clinic located inside of NPVMC. Additionally, he contributes by working shifts in our Emergency Department and serves as NPVMC’s medical director.

Dr. Ullrich has been practicing for 16 years, and began working for Ivinson Medical Group in 2010. His passions outside of patient care include general aviation, astronomy and travel, as well as camping with his family. Dr. Ullrich says he enjoys working for IMG because it allows him to work closely with other providers, giving them the ability to consult with one another to facilitate excellent patient care.

As a specialist in the care of adults 70 and older, I am committed to helping patients maintain their wellness, independence and quality of life as they age. I partner with my patients in meeting their health goals, which often includes decreasing the amount of medications they take and improving and maintaining daily functioning. Being an advocate for and empowering our older adults is my greatest roll as a geriatrician.

Katie Vaughan, DPT, recently joined the North Platte Valley Medical Center care team and is currently seeing patients in the Physical Therapy department. She brings experience from outpatient, acute care, and pediatric settings, most recently working in Fulton, Missouri.
A graduate of Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri, Katie earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in December 2024 and has since enjoyed the opportunity to provide care in a variety of settings across the country. She is passionate about connecting with patients, helping them meet their goals, and supporting the body’s natural healing process through physical therapy.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time outdoors – whether hiking, camping, or fishing – and exploring the beauty of new places.

Born and raised in West Virginia, Chris graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Biology in 1994. He moved to Wyoming in 1997 to work in Yellowstone National Park. Chris then completed the Interservice Physician Assistant Program in 2006 and has worked primarily in urgent care and emergency medicine settings since he transitioned over to medicine.
Chris enjoys the outdoors, attending concerts and comedy shows, as well as spending time with his fiancée and daughters. He is excited to see patients at the North Platte Valley Medical Center and provide care to this wonderful community.

Mike’s commitment to excellence has made him a trusted professional, always ready to step in and make critical decisions when every second counts.
After an illustrious career in the military, Mike transitioned to civilian life, continuing to serve the community with the same vigor and dedication. Known for his calm demeanor and ability to thrive in high-stress environments, he has earned the respect of both colleagues and patients alike.
Retirement from the US Army hasn’t slowed him down; instead, it has allowed Mike to bring his expertise to new heights, ensuring that his legacy of exceptional care endures.
