Update: Due to electrical issues, the mobile MRI machine was not operational at the North Platte Valley Medical Center during this trip. The issues are being addressed and a mobile MRI visit will be rescheduled soon. It is still a good idea, however, to see your provider if you are in need of an MRI to make sure you are eligible and get approval from insurance, especially since this can take time. We will announce the rescheduled MRI date as soon as possible. Please let us know if you have any questions (307) 326-3169.

A mobile MRI unit will be visiting the North Platte Valley Medical Center July 12th. If you’re in need of an MRI, don’t delay making an appointment with your provider.

Before getting an MRI, you and your provider will start the process to make sure you’re eligible to get one and get authorization from your insurance so you don’t have to pay for it out of pocket. This can take time, so don’t delay.

Because an MRI uses a very strong magnet, they cannot be performed on patients with certain health devices such as implanted pace makers or cochlear implants.

Make an appointment with one of our Platte Valley Clinic providers to address any questions you might have and start the process to get an MRI. Call (307) 326-3169 to schedule an appointment today.
