Meet Dr. Speakman

We’re proud to have Dr. Mori Speakman, a board-certified family medicine physician, serving our community full time at North Platte Valley Medical Center.

Dr. Speakman was born and raised in Mt. Pleasant, Utah, where his passion for medicine was shaped by the values of his rural hometown. His journey began at Snow College and continued at the University of Utah, where he completed both his undergraduate studies and medical degree.

He went on to complete his family medicine residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, gaining extensive training in caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds.

As a physician in the military, Dr. Speakman served in multiple locations, including deployments to Germany and Afghanistan, as well as assignments at Fort Drum, New York, and Cedar City, Utah. These experiences strengthened his ability to deliver high-quality care in challenging and varied settings, fostering a deep commitment to serving communities with diverse needs.

Board-certified and now practicing in Saratoga, Dr. Speakman brings both expertise and a heartfelt dedication to his patients here in the Platte Valley.
